Give Thanks by Giving Back to Long Island Food Pantries this Holiday Season

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and as we enter the holiday season, it is important to remember that across Long Island, there are locals who may not be as fortunate this year, and could use a helping hand from their neighbors. Thankfully, there are numerous food pantries in Nassau and Suffolk that are here to support Long Islanders in their time of need, and this holiday season, they're asking for your help when it comes to collecting food and supplies. With the recent cut in SNAP benefits for many Long Islanders, it's more important than ever before to give what you can, and help out those in need.

For the scoop on how you can get involved with one of these local food pantries, and to find out how you can make someone's holiday season a bit more bright, check out Today's Top Ten - we've got the scoop on the local organizations you'll want to work with this holiday season, as well as the scoop on what they're in need of in terms of donations.
