Suozzi Sends Out the Tax Assessors AGAIN!

Lock your doors, close your gates and don't answer your door bell. County Executive Tom Suozzi is looking to fatten the coffers again. He has sent out the town tax assessors in full force to raise your property taxes again even though your lost 25% of the equity in your house value.

It's an absolute disgrace that the town can't give it a rest considering the current economic environment. You would think the County Executive's office would take as aggressive of a stance again the growing epidemic of day laborers on every corner of Hempstead turnpike. Nope! Instead they have once again set their sites on the struggling middle class of long Island. As though it isn't hard enough to be able to afford to put food on your table or keep gas in your car theses days just to get to work. Souzzi's administration wants to jack up your property and school taxes again!

I say enough is enough. Send a letter or call the Executive Thomas Souzzi's office as well as his buddy Harvey B. Levinson the County Assessor and tell them exactly how you feel about the property tax gouging.
