Mardi Gras is right around the corner and celebrations full of rich
eating and partying are underway. Mardi Gras, also known as "Fat Tuesday" and "Carnival season" to most Americans, is held the day before Ash Wednesday
and follows unique traditions to celebrate. Although the Mardi Gras
traditions differ from city to city, most include dressing up in fun
costumes and decorative masks while wearing multiple strands of colorful
beads around their necks as they wander through the streets during
parades and parties.
