Long Island's Real Haunts: Local Landmarks Packed with REAL Scares

This October, as you're gearing up to check out some of the Haunted Houses around Long Island, you might be wondering - are these attractions really haunted? Although we can't confirm whether or not the fun filled Haunted Houses that are open to the public each Autumn are actually haunted, we can tell you that according to lots of local folklore and legend, that there are plenty of places here on Long Island that are believe to actually be haunted. From the notorious Kings Park Psychiatric Center, with its looming, ominous abandoned buildings, to Lake Ronkonkoma, which is said to be haunted by the souls of those that drowned there, Long Island is home to a ton of haunted history that's absolutely fascinating - if you're brave enough to read about it!
